CREATION AND PRODUCTION
The Kunstkraftwerk Leipzig, opened in 2016 in a former power plant, is the first museum in Germany dedicated exclusively to digital and multimedia art. An international reference point, it brings together 360° projections, interactive installations, and immersive environments. Its productions explore scientific and artistic themes through innovative techniques, offering a unique sensory experience at the intersection of art, technology, and storytelling. Today, Kunstkraftwerk is recognized as a leading hub for digital and immersive art, attracting visitors and artists from around the world.
Role in the project: Overall project coordination, development of the audiovisual concept, production of the immersive show, planning of international exhibitions, and communication.
The Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici, founded in 1964, is a legally recognized non-profit cultural association active at both national and international levels in archaeological research and technological innovation in the field of rock art, with a particular focus on Val Camonica. It collaborates with universities, research institutes, museums, and scholars across Europe and worldwide. Its activities include training researchers, conducting and publishing studies, as well as preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
Role in the project: Project coordination, selection of the rock engravings, scientific supervision, development of the storytelling, and planning of exhibitions in the Lombardy region.
TECHNICAL PARTNERS
The Fondazione Bruno Kessler (FBK), based in Trento, is a research institution of the Autonomous Province of Trento operating in the fields of science, technology, and the humanities.
Role in the project: Acquisition of ultra-high-resolution 3D imagery (under 0.1 mm) for pixel-accurate trigonometric calculations, ensuring precise three-dimensional reconstruction of details.
The CINECA / VISIT Lab (Bologna) is a non-profit interuniversity consortium involving 69 Italian universities, 2 ministries, and 27 public institutions. It provides IT solutions and technological infrastructures for education, training, and research.
Role in the project: Image processing and video animation, preparation of photographic material for projection, segmentation and isolation of figures, as well as colorization and grouping of scenes for the production of projected content.
Airpixel creates indoor and outdoor footage using FPV and DJI drones, combined with ground-based shots to ensure optimal perspectives and high image quality. From concept to post-production, the team delivers visually striking results.
Role in the project: Completion of the immersive show through the integration of visual, spatial, and audio content, ensuring artistic and technical alignment between animations and drone footage.
